I can not believe that this day has finally come! My little Ty-Ty is now 5 years old and off to his First Day of Kindergarten. I am so excited for him. He is going to have so much fun and learn o many exciting things. I don't know if I would be as confident in that statement if Ty didn't get into the Charter School that we wanted. I am sure he would still enjoy school, but  knowing that he is in a school that teaches the same morals and values that we teach in our home is so reassuring. Plus being a Charter School they do not have to teach the same way public schools to and they can teach in a way that each child needs. Thanks to John Adams Academy I am a happy Mommy. :-)

New Beginings

There has been some big changes in our family since my last post. We bought our first house!! We are so excited! We have moved to a wonderful location, and we were able to get Ty into an amazing Charter school in the area. I can't believe that he is going into Kindergarten! We have been so blessed.
So we bought a house in Rocklin Ca and it is an older home that needs some TLC. Surprisingly I fell in love with it right away (even though I usually would go straight for a new home all ready to move in LOL) But I loved the character and potential of this house. So I showed it to Dane and he agreed! Of course it was a dream for him to have so many projects to do on a house. He LOVES that stuff!! :-) So the house was ours in the beginning of May and our lease wasn't up at our old place until the end of June. So we thought it was the perfect opportunity to start the renovations. And when I say renovations, I mean renovations. We have done something to almost every room in the house. And when we are done every room will have changed eventually. :-) It has been a fun and stressful process. Dane has but me in charge of picking out all of the colors and design of things in the house. Talk about pressure!! I think I did ok though. :-)
Since we are not completely done with everything I will just put a picture of the house. And when we finish the projects I will put before and after pictures. :-)
